The winter fuel budget is a benefit that eleven million pensioners are currently relying on to stay warm over winter.  

The role of police and the duty they serve to the public is the upkeep of safety and order – the reassurance that the law, that justice, will prevail.  

Since mid-2021, the prison population in the UK has increased rapidly. According to the House of Lords Library, as of August 23rd 2024, the prisoner population of England and Wales stood at 88,350 while the operating capacity of prisons was, 89,543 putting prisons at 98% capacity, with fewer than 1,500 spaces left. The House of Commons library has stated that, as attested by the Prison Service’s annual digest statistics, 23%, almost 1/4 of prisoners, were made to share cells as a result of overcrowding in 2022 and 2023. 

Modelling has been an imperative role in the fashion industry since the mid 1800s, but does modelling affect society in a more impactful way than we may recognise? Does a possible lack of representation in high fashion create a toxic ideology that seeps into society? 

Imagine the lights dimming, the speakers humming, the rising anticipation of the performance... then, the crowd hollers, the band walks on-stage…but you cannot see because someone’s phone is blocking your view.
