At the Grammys, millions of Swifties anticipated Taylor to announce the re-recording of her 2017 Reputation album, or perhaps drop it right there and then as “there will be no explanation just reputation”. However, with Taylor showing up in her ‘jilted bride’ look, they got more than they bargained for- a whole new album. The Tortured Poets Department. The album will be dropping on April 19th 2024.
The weeks following, we struggled to remember the name telling our friends we could not wait for ‘dead poets society’ to be released. It is rumoured to be a ‘synth pop album’ and leaks of her song ‘Fortnite’ with Post Malone has been trending on TikTok, however it is uncertain whether these are just a product of AI.
